CenterStage
CenterStage is located on the Saint Louis Science Center's lower level. It plays host to various free interactive presentations including the gravity-infused Science Goes Splat!, Amazing Science Demonstrations and various speakers throughout the year. CenterStage is equipped with high-definition plasma monitors, an enormous projector and projection wall, a remote-controlled projection camera, adjustable high-tech colored lighting, and the latest audio capability.
Amazing Science Demonstrations
These free, 10-minute shows run every hour at 10 minutes after the hour and on the 1/2 hour. Our fun and interactive shows have different themes every hour until 2pm every day!
Betcha Can't
We challenge visitors in the audience to test the impossible by attempting challenges that are extremely difficult or even impossible to do.
CO2, Where Are You?
How does one little gas make a big difference? Come find out more about carbon dioxide, energy, and energy efficiency in this fun, "green"presentation!
Science Goes Splat
We test the theory of gravity by dropping objects from a window three stories above the stage! Make observations and predictions as we observe how different objects fall.
